Fashion Traffic Light: SAG Awards 2012 Edition

When Did You Decide?
I know I'm a bit late in giving my 2 cents on the SAG Awards red carpet (thanks to my overwhelming workload at school) but I'll give it anyway :) While watching the Red Carpet, I just thought if I was holding a fashion traffic light at the red carpet there were some I'd show the green light to because they looked stunning, others who I would show the yellow light because they were so-so but I'd still let them go through, and then a few others I would straight up show the red light indicating that they had to go back home and change!

There were a number who rocked the carpet but these are just some of my top choices, who immediately get the Green light pass. Even though Guiliana Rancic was a fashion correspondent and not an actor, I thought she looked absolutely stunning; definitely one of the best dressed! Sofia Vergara always knows how to dress for her curves, and although she wears similar styles at her various red carpet appearances, I still think she looked amazing. Octavia Spencer also worked with her body; she looked fabulous!

Although I loved the color on Jessica Chastain, I wasn’t really crazy about the dress; I guess it’s because I’m just not a fan of bust cut dresses. I didn't really like Kaley Cuoco’s Romona Keveza number, and somehow I just wish the braided band matched the color of her hair, if she really wanted to wear one. While a lot of people were raving about Michelle Williams in her Valentino dress, I wasn’t particularly sold. To me, she looked somewhat juvenile… and that’s just my opinion obviously :) Nonetheless, I’d let these ladies with a Yellow light pass (aka step it up next time).

Red Light: Shailene Woodley looks like she was getting ready for bed. Busy Philipps just didn’t do it for me on that carpet; that whole boho chic thing is just not for the red carpet… take it elsewhere!  And Kristin Wiig almost had the chance to make it work, but for that choker! I would show her the red light just to go and take it off. Choker aside, she looked great.
